Introduction To Marrakech

Marrakech is the second largest city in Morocco and one of the main reasons the city has been so popular with travelers is because of it’s atmosphere – the hustle and bustle of the souks (the market place), haggling for the locals goods, and relaxing at the cafés and restaurants that serve tasty and delicious local Marrakech cuisine.

There is entertainment such as acrobats, dancers, pipe musicians and comedians that can be found at the Djemaa El-Fna – the place is a must see in the evenings You can also grab a bite to eat there as there are plenty of food stall selling tasty local fare. Djemaa El-Fna is located in Medina, the old and historic part of the city make sure to check out Bab Agnaou entrance to the Kasbah. Kasbah district has a much more relaxed atmosphere and here you can find the Royal palace as well as great number of souks and restaurants.
